The IB Advantage

We live in an increasingly global and interconnected world, and Halifax Grammar School recognizes the importance of preparing students to thrive in that environment. Through the International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes, students develop critical thinking skills, international-mindedness, and the ability to understand and engage with the world around them. The IB Diploma Programme is an enriching university preparatory experience offered in Grades 11 and 12 that emphasizes inquiry, communication, reflection, and academic excellence while helping students become active, compassionate, and lifelong learners.
