This group includes Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Princeton University, Stanford University, University of Pennsylvania, and Yale University.The students events are scheduled below. Senior School Information Night
You are invited to attend our Senior School Parent Information Session on Thursday, September 18 at Halifax Grammar School.From 5:00–6:00 p.m. in the MPR, this year’s session begins with a Navigating University Research, Planning, and Scholarships presentation by Ms. Laura Brock, Director of University Counseling,
From 6:00–7:00 p.m, grade-specific sessions will run.
The Senior School’s Information Session is different from the Prep and Middle Schools’—it is not a traditional “meet the teacher” evening. Instead, our focus is on reinforcing expectations and providing parents with a detailed overview of the academic and co-curricular programs that define the Senior School experience.Evening Schedule5:00–6:00 p.m. – Open University Session (MPR) for all parents.6:00–7:00 p.m. – Grade-Level Sessions:- Grade 10 Parents – Matthew Moffatt, Head of Senior School, on navigating Senior School life.
- Grade 11 Parents – Gayle Baillie, CAS Coordinator, and Hilary St. Pierre, Extended Essay Coordinator, on the CAS Program and Extended Essay.
