Youth Running Series: MET Madness
Date: Sunday, June 1
Time: Races start at 10:00 a.m. Bib pickup begins at 8:30 a.m.
Location: Metropolitan Field, 95 Metropolitan Ave, Lower Sackville
Events Order: U6, U8, U10, U12, U15 & 18
Track Event: 1 km = 2.5 laps / 1.5 km - 3.75 laps / 2.2 km - 5.5 lapsWear PINK and run against bullying! -

Junior Primary Field Trip to Noggins Farm
Junior Primary students and teachers will be traveling to Greenwich, Nova Scotia to do the living things investigation program, and enjoy other activities at Noggins Corner Farm.Grade 1 Playground Tour Field Trip
We will be touring and playing at some of the city's best-designed playgrounds. This is a fun research-based trip to support our thematic lessons on 'Playgrounds: Purpose and Design'. We will be starting our tour at Needham Park where we will enjoy our recess snack, and then move to The Dingle where we will have our lunch, and then on to Westmount . We will finish the day at 'The Oaks' to enjoy a cold treat provided by our class parents.Grade 3 Field Trip to Millbrook Cultural and Heritage Centre
Students will be transported by bus to the Millbrook Cultural & Heritage Centre, where they will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Mi'kmaq culture.Grade 4 Field Trip to Hatfield Farm
Students will be transported by bus to Hatfield Farm where all students will have the opportunity to participate in team-building activities and celebrate the end of the school year.Students will learn about and interact with the animals on the farm. Activities include a petting zoo, playground, and horse-drawn wagon ride.
