  • Full-time Middle Math & Science Teacher

    The Halifax Grammar School (Grammar) is seeking an experienced Middle Math & Science Teacher (MMSJuly2025-W) for a Full-time position beginning in August 2025.

    The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of the Math and Science curriculum, the International Baccalaureate Program,  differentiated instructional strategies and assessment practices. They will plan, organize and implement dynamic instructional programming in an engaging and innovative learning environment. They must have exceptional communication skills and be confident users of technology. Finally, this individual must be a collaborative educator who will contribute to co-curricular activities and be part of the Grammar school community. 
     
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor of Education Degree
    • Undergraduate Degree in Math or Science
    • Nova Scotia Teaching Licence (or equivalent)
    • 2-5 years of experience teaching at the Middle school level is preferred.

    The successful candidate will be required to pass and maintain a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector check.

  • Physical Health Education Teacher

    The Halifax Grammar School (Grammar) is seeking an experienced Physical Health Education Teacher for a full-time position beginning in August 2025.
     
    The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of the Physical Health Education curriculum, the International Baccalaureate Program, differentiated instructional strategies and assessment practices. They will plan, organize and implement dynamic instructional programming in an engaging and innovative learning environment. They must have exceptional communication skills and be confident users of technology. Finally, this individual must be a collaborative educator who will contribute to co-curricular activities and be part of the Grammar school community. 
     
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor of Education Degree
    • Undergraduate Degree in Physical Health Education
    • Additional teachable (Math or Science)
    • Nova Scotia Teaching Licence (or equivalent)
    • 2-5 years of experience teaching at all school levels (JP-10)
